A qualified Chartered Surveyor and valuer, Dimitri worked as a land agent for twelve years, dealing with all aspects of estate management. He managed let and in hand farming operations, numerous construction projects, including listed building and conservation works, estate and succession planning, residential and commercial properties, and agri-environmental schemes.
Dimitri acknowledged that for some time, there had been a growing demand from landowners for a different approach to land management. He was aware that the rural sector could be notoriously predictable, and that management had become too reactive and habitual. In 2009, he set up Saker Consultancy to provide an alternative and truly independent service.
Dimitri now acts for private individuals, family businesses and trusts. In certain situations, he is personally appointed as a trustee or director. His independence and method of work allows him to present a wide experience and perspective to all his clients. Dimitri specialises in handling difficult and emotionally delicate situations. He brings passion and dynamism to all projects and is not scared of considering the unconsidered.
Dimitri lives in Shropshire and is married with two children, two dogs and enjoys a variety of sports.
